THE CLIENT THE BRIEF Art direction, Layout Design, Hardcover catalogue design THE ANSWER
The aim of the layout was to showcase both wines and paintings as well as explaining the relationship between both. I worked with black, white and gold tones in order to fit to the brand values. The design is sober and therefore transmits a qualitative feeling. It was interesting to manage the type setting in both English and Chinese languages. It was a chance and honour to work with artists such as Yue Minjun and Zao Wouki. Pont des Arts, founded by Arthur de Villepin and Thibault Pontallier, was born from the ambition to merge the worlds of art and wine. In a perpetual research of beauty, pleasure and quality.
